Edry Ziqry is emerging as one of Brunei’s most dynamic and commercially promising music talents, known for his strong vocal presence, consistent competition wins, and growing footprint across live performances, media, and original releases.

His breakthrough came after being crowned Juara Bintang Search Musim 5 (2024), where he stood out in front of a high-profile panel including Marsha Milan, Ziana Zain, Ayda Jebat, Kris Dayanti, and Makki Ungu. This milestone positioned him as a credible name within the regional music space and set the tone for his competitive streak.

Building on that momentum, Edry secured first place in the BruIPO & AGC Songwriting Competition (2025), reinforcing his versatility not just as a performer, but also as a creative songwriter. His consistency in the live music circuit is evident through multiple podium finishes across regional Battle of the Bands competitions, including placements in Brunei, Miri, Limbang, and Lawas, alongside accolades such as Best Vocalist awards, highlighting his technical strength and stage command.

On the commercial music front, Edry has begun establishing his catalogue with the release of his debut single Setia in conjunction with Brunei’s National Day 2024, followed by its official music video in 2025. He further expanded his portfolio through involvement in soundtrack production, contributing to the OST Ganggu alongside Marsya Dania, including both audio recording and music video production in collaboration with Radio Televisyen Brunei.

Beyond recordings, Edry maintains a strong presence in live entertainment and national events. His performance portfolio includes appearances at major public showcases such as Pentas Perayaan @ Dermaga BSB, Jerudong Park’s Picnic & Rhythm series, and KB Gempak in Kuala Belait, working with bands like Ozmayra, Nero, and Click Theory. He has also been featured in corporate and institutional events, including engagements with the Brunei Association of Banks, as well as televised appearances on RTB programs like Rampai Pagi.

Expanding into multimedia, Edry has ventured into acting, taking on a role in the local film Majlis Cinta under Origin Original Productions, further strengthening his positioning as a multi-disciplinary entertainer. His media exposure is supported through radio interviews on Pelangi FM, enhancing his reach and audience engagement during key release periods.

With a solid track record of competition wins, consistent live performances, and growing involvement in original productions, Edry Ziqry represents a new generation of Bruneian artists who are not only performance-driven but also commercially viable across music, media, and entertainment platforms.
